Renewals
Vehicle renewals can be done in person in the Treasurer's office by cash or check payment. Renewals can also be done through the mail by check or online using a credit card. To renew online click the following link: Online Vehicle Registration Renewal Service. Renewal online cannot be done if your registration has expired.
TITLES
Titling paperwork will be sent to the Treasurer's office from your dealer and we will contact you by letter when the paperwork is received. If you are purchasing from a private individual, the following paperwork will be required:
1. Notarized Montana Title or Out-of-State Title; or Manufacturer Certificate of Origin
2. Driver's License
3. Lien Release (if applicable)
4. Any other applicable supporting documents such as Power of Attorney, Death Certificate, Bill of Sale, etc.

DRIVER'S LICENSE
